ARABELLA’S STORY
Arabella and her brother Aries were brought to a tourism and volunteer project only days old. They had been taken away from their mother and were destined for life of human exploitation. Arabella became severely ill with a virus on the brain and was in intensive care for three weeks. The veterinarian said he had done all he could, and now it was up to her if she wanted to live. With an incredible life force Arabella chose to live, and what a purposeful life she does lead.
Her brother Aries was horrifically killed for the wildlife trade, but Arabella was saved. Today she speaks a powerful story of how determination and perseverance and having faith in the goodness of life can help you overcome unthinkable situations.
Arabella is one of the most talkative animals at Panthera Africa Big Cat Sanctuary, and she so gladly shares her stories and is also loves to listen to yours. Her winning personality and loving nature captures the heart of us all.
