Our animals require high-quality, species-appropriate diets, essential supplements and medication to maintain their health, strength and vitality. However, medical emergencies can arise unexpectedly, requiring urgent veterinary intervention, surgeries or specialised treatments, often leading to the need for even more costly, tailored diets that are medically appropriate to support recovery and long-term health. These unforeseen situations often come with significant costs, and we must frequently fundraise to cover these expenses. Ensuring we have emergency funds readily available is critical to providing immediate care when our animals need it most. With monthly food | supplement | medication costs reaching R300,000 per month—a total of R3.6 million per year—we rely on the generosity of supporters like you to sustain this vital care.
