AMY’S STORY
Amy is known as the wise lady who has the biggest caring heart, and she certainly captures those who make the time to truly see her for the amazing soul she is.
Before Amy came to Panthera Africa she was used for interaction both by volunteers and tourists. Five times a day, tourists came into her enclosure for pictures and strokes, and because of her cheeky and naughty behaviour she was often locked in a cage to enable the tourists to be able to interact with her and the other caracals.
At Panthera Africa she is now free to do what she wants and be who she is without any interference from people. It is beautiful to see how she plays with her toys and in water. At other times resting peacefully with her best friend Jack.
