Panthera Africa is appealing for donations to feed its animals during the South African winter months. Increased expenses and loss of income have severely strained our finances during the last two years. Our financial situation has hindered our ability to care for our animals.
Until September, we expect to raise the equivalent of one month feeding-related expenses – R90.000. Help us feed our Pride.

WHAT WE NEED
Despite the uplifting of restrictions in South Africa and the rest of the world, our Sanctuary is still feeling the impact of the pandemic. In addition, last months are traditionally harder for us due to the tourist low season in Africa.
On one side, prices have been soaring in 2022 due to several factors. Our activities have been deeply impacted by the increased costs of food, transportation and services. Provision shortages have also reduced our ability to fetch food and supplements for our animals.
On the other hand, our income has not recovered from the impact of the last two years. We are still living in less than 50% of our regular revenue. We have diversified our strategies to ensure that our activities can continue but it has not been enough.
Since the foundation of Panthera Africa, our biggest strength came from our supporters. You have helped us build our facilities, feed our animals and provide them the best life possible.
Our campaign aims at raising R90.000 that are equivalent to one month feeding-related expenses of the animals. Those costs include the food for each Pride member and the related expenses that ensure their quality of life.
